Hi Thought I would post this up as have seen a few on here my first ever merc Just bought this to mess with as my nb mx5 is going off road for welding and paint and wanted to stick something else on my multi car policy 1998 genuine sport with 18" amg wheels from an e class, other than that and a towbar its stock AFAIK 180k and goes like a train Scabby in usual areas but still solid, needs two small patches in spare wheel well and hopefully will mot in Feb without any bother. Need to change water pump pulley too hope its not too hard, don't think it will be? Takes a hell of a good photo though looks sweet from ten feet lol  |

Really enjoyed my time behind the wheel of a C250TD - mine was scabby round the arches and the front wings were a little bit sacred but went like stink and still did 40mpg.

I was surprised at the comfort and level of equipment in the car wouldn't mind finding a clean one and using it as my main car this one is just a bit of fun wont last forever as it will never be mint.
Can see myself driving it a lot though

I've recently picked up one of these as well, waited ages to find a manual estate, love the car and it sounds nice & fruity with a straight pipe & air filter! Not great mpg local but 45+ on a run is easily achieved  Is yours an manual? |

Yeah she's manual. Not bad mpg I'll be cutting the life out of it everywhere so mine will be bad probably.
You straight pipe it or was it done? You go from cat or decat too
Need to when I get it
Fit new battery
Clean interior as mouldy from sitting
Change water pump pulley
Patch spare wheel well
Fit a stereo
Fix back windows both don't work

these are nippy enough too,had a few over the years,thought the autos were nice,the manual a bit clunky but both good cars

Yeah my mates petrol one is auto, auto sweet for normal driving but I prefer manual for getting up to mischief lol
