If i am not mistaken your'e running 15 inch wheels. I reckon that would look the "dogs" with some 13" Meca parts Gotti wheels. Plus you get the lows without compromising your suspension so much. So good to see something different on here. Thanks for sharing with us.

13s kill these. I'd love gottis but the small wheel and tyre combo would kill off the lack of performance it already hasn't got. 15s with decent size tyres might see me being able to do 60mph

Would have to go rear mounted on a vw box I think..... Not if you flipped the CROWN wheel over. Or... Use the 4 wheel drive gearbox without the rear wheel drive bit? Either way I have a new box of cutting disks that can assist in this happening... P.

In the 70's we used to watch a French television programme, dubbed into either English or Afrikaans, and the main character was a Dauphine.
Love the way this is going.

As penance for posting that image from a google search I've tried to do a mockup to explain what I meant more but that doesn;t seem to work either. Maybe it needs a bigger back wheel. Carry on as you were.

Nothing much done at all, had a few weeks of car fails so havent paid the dauphine any attention. My Clio 172 turbo decided to chuck a rod. Luckily my Renaultsport twingo hadnt sold so I'm back in that for the daily, clio now shifted so hopefully ill have some more time. received this its a 1960 onwards book should help with some of the mechanicals and electricals though its for 12v only. Current plan is to get the fuel tank unblocked and usable, that way i don't have to keep pulling pipes off and using a jerry can to run the engine. If that goes well i might see about sending the rear wheels off for some banding though i keep looking at it and the skinnys are growing on me. really tempted to just throw some rubber on them for now. Maybe some 165/50 or 45 15s up front and 195 or 205/50/15s out back? what do you guys think. I could always get the rears banded after if i didnt like it... TBC
