Hi lads, had a thread on here called fordes ped thread which had some of my smaller cc things in it but thought id bash up a thread for my entire bike collection and have it all in one place, as usual I have left it ages and a lot of things have come and gone so just starting over. Have bought and sold a lot more over the last year but these are my personal "keepers" atm. 2015 Royal Enfield Continental GT Brand New: Rear fender shortened, bullet indicators, small pressed plate and a shorty megaphone: 1991 Jawa TS350 Deluxe Roadster Type 638/9 1995 CZ-Jawa 125 Sport Type 488, Built in conjunction with cagiva, Only 800 miles on it and have the service book and all for it 1991 Piaggio Vespa PX125E - Converted to premix, SIP Roadsport Pipe and a bigger jet. 1977 Honda PA50 Camino, aka Hobbit. Bought and blasted all last summer with gross red oxide paint job. Have repainted frame and forks and rack, fitted new carb, got a wee café racer light and bars and got a NOS tank from Germany just need to get it finished. As Bought In Progress Still have my 1970 Puch Maxi N and 1982 Maxi S both are in bits awaiting full rebuilds. Not gonna post a massive amount of detail in this post but if anyone wants to ask about any of them fire away. Cheers lads

That Continental is gorgeous Back in early 70's I had the choice between a 1965 Honda S90 or a 250 Crusader Sport for same amount at a dealer. Regrettably I chose the Honda Did have a James Sports Superswift as next bike though !

Best way to answer that would be patinaed well debating to clea coat it, the original exhaust blew it self apart so I've welded up a combustion chamber pipe from a modern 2 stroke and gunna up the carb, Was just gunna parts it but me 2 stroke man said he can make her work so left it to him

Now this is my kind of thread, I love these bikes! There exactly the sort of bikes I'd have if I was still riding! The jawa's are nice, you don't see many around anymore most people used them as commuters and ran them into the ground. I like the Camino, I never had one (I had a pf50 novio instead) but a friends brother did..... Yours looks like it could do with an expansion pipe, those I under slung collector type exhausts are so restrictive,
I like your maxi's too, a friend had one, I was a bit jealous because of the huge selection of aftermarket parts - I particularly liked the look of the twin exhaust expansion pipes, we painted his and made it look good, but it certainly wasn't a professional job and our hamfisted maintenance eventually led to its demise!
What project is next on the cards?

Hi
Not adding to the pile for a while if I can help it cos the jawa and vespa need some.maintenance the blue cz needs a little tlc and the three mopeds are in bits, the pictures I uploaded are before i started the builds.
well the Camino is half done and the two puchs are bare frames atm. Kind of like the Camino as a stocker, not many pipe or carb options for them, unsure if you can jets for the wee stock carb and not much else would fit in there where it goes. Could modify a different pipe but I have like 2 grand of parts stockpiled to build my two puchs anyway so don t mind the Camino being a reliable stocker
I have fallen behind due to getting married in Sept so most of the year I was busy planning that and organising it, and have been getting back to normal at home and busy at work since.
Plan of attack is do work on vespa and jawa first then get Camino and blue cz sorted followed by the puchs for a more leisurely project

Have never seen one in the metal but have had a few expresses. Much harder to find mopeds here in northern Ireland than on the mainland.

Sounds like a plan, did you ever fail an mot on the red maxi n for not having chain guards fitted? Have you fitted any cylinder kits to these? the Camino sounds good as a stock bike, not many people appreciates the merits of standard peds, that's what I plan to do with my Honda novio when I get around to sorting it, (it's in a bit of a state at the moment) You must have a thing for two strokes, as bar the Enfield they're all 2t, Here was my friends maxi, (with him riding it) after we had painted it, we had a good laugh doing it, but like I said, it wasn't a great job! My first road bike was a Puch m3, which I didn't keep for long, I enjoyed owning it but I had to upgrade. Then in 2008 I had a Puch MS50D, I did a good restoration job on it -even if I do say so myself! But was knocked off in 2009 which had stopped me riding - but I still love the peds!

That's gorgeous mate love it great job, cool didn't realise u still had a bike the novios are cool one of retro bike mates has had a few throw up a pic if u like
Yes I love the two strokes I kinda buy/fix/sell old two strokes for a hobby and keep ones I get that I like a lot lol
Have had most the bikes in this post a good while just got the red jawa and Enfield in summer there.
Bought both puchs as projects and have had neither on road yet lol. Do actually have side plastic covers for both puchs maybe just not fitted in pic.
Have bought parts to build engine for blue one will have ported cases and have treats stuffer crank, treats six port cylinder kit (50cc), lightened clutch bell, atomic three shoe racing clutch, big carb pod filter and pipe. Red one probably get a bit of porting a sport 70 kit and pipe. Have a tecno circuit and a biturbo here. Have had red one three years maybe and blue one four. Got both stripped and blue one frame all blasted and primed, red one was stripped engine and forks back in now and bought another set of mags for it. I bought them as long term projects but they're low priority and with so many other smaller projects coming and going I haven't got back at them not to mention cars and house and wedding lol easily had 20+ other bikes come and go the past year
I've just been collecting parts and have loads of stuff so ill just get stuck in someday and finish them. Got all the stuff here new lights bars ignition systems shocks wheels new tyres seals and bearings exhausts whatever u name it lol only thing I still want is ebr forks for blue one

Very nice, not many weddings cars are lambrettas! Yeah post some pictures up of your friends novio, mines just sat in the back of the garage looking sorry for itself, I've bern meaning to sort it out for a long time, I think (when I get around to it) I'll need some wheels and spokes! When I paint it I want to take it back to its original colours - orange and cream, Yeah my Puch was really tidy, but I got knocked off it so it needs some repairs, which makes it pretty much in purgatory at the moment, another garage project! It's still tidyish though, the most disappointing thing about being knocked off was I think it bent the frame, which pretty much makes it worthless, I've not really looked into it but I'm not sure where it is bent, and if it's just the mudguard section box I might be able to pull it back,

Going to have to bump this thread and update it lol
I've sold the big jawa 350 and bought another cz sport (parts bike) and another camino. I'll have to get some pics sorted later on.
My wife's cousin moved house and in the barn was a Raleigh wildcat bmx which is the exact bike I had as a child so they've given me that to restore as well.
