I've got memories of sitting in my parents white 110, holding onto the long metal bar for dear life, as my mum struggles to navigate the country lanes thinking she can still drive it like a normal car... And now it's time to start my own Landrover journey, after months of car hunting and obsessing I've bagged my self a 92' 200tdi! ![](https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xtl1/v/t1.0-9/10400756_10205514142752808_5618844060314218103_n.jpg?oh=bf0ce06666aed8a9e4722944d215b5b6&oe=571D8C4C) Now the real news is it was only £2500, I had budgeted £5k but having watched the price of these rocket since the start of the year I was becoming edgy with the though of being priced out of the market even at £5k! Its done 130,000 but pulled strong on the 3 hour journey home and doesn't need much, she's rough on the outside but only needs the rear cross member replacing for the next ticket in summer and then it depends on how obsessed I get with it! Filters, belts and fluid changes tomorrow including waterpump and timing belt, diff and transfer box oils e.c.t all in the rain, gotta love winter!

Well someone's got to do it! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Looks reasonably straight for a '92 and a good punt for 2.5k. Good luck and welcome to the wonderful(?) world of LR ownership!

Just ran in. Brothers 200 discovery has done 250000 and still pulls like a beast. I have a 300 on 233000 and that's also pretty healthy. Good purchase at the price for sure! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

looks great, whats the bulkhead like. 7/10 drivers door pillar will need replacing along with a patch to the part underneath the dash above the accelerator. Of course the end caps on the outer bulkhead are bubbling but for £6 each for repair panels from paddocks its not to worrying!

So not much has gone on over the past month, I've put over 1000 miles on here including a few 5+ hour jaunts home, including one during storm Imogen, there was more water inside that out i think. New door hinges have arrived and bought a naughty set of rock sliders, struggling to get them on as rust inside the outriggers is blocking the way, any ideas? My next big job is to warm the cabin a bit by fixing all the breezes! Drivers doors been replaced and put back on badly, half the door rubbers are ripped and seal along the bottom of the cabs gone so need to replace them. Also this.. The plastic fittings underneath the window channel arn't secured down so it all moves around a bit, should there be plastic bungs in the door for self tappers to go into? As they're a few holes but nothing in them.. Also missing the plastic guide from one of the sides so if anyone knows where i can get one would be dandy! But replace the rotten channel with new and might be able to close the window fully!

Nice. Got yourself a bargain there. The prices have put me off swapping the Disco for a 90. My BTW is on 206,000 still going string, and I've messed with the pump tuning and upped the turbo boost!

I need to have a look to see how the outer plastic trim is held in on my 110, but the actual channel is held in with self tapping screws.
Cut a piece to length, drill the channel and frame, add a screw. Rather antiquated method, but it works. Alternatively you could glue them in with Tiger seal, sikaflex or the like, the same would work with the plastic trims, just don't go overboard with the application.
