For sale is my 1980 Porsche 924 n/a - was bought from this very site around 6 months ago - done a bit of work to it between then and now, but due to a change in jobs i've no longer got the time to look after it properly.
Good Parts -
MOT until June
New Injectors
New fuel lines
Recently serviced with new oil filter, oil air filters and plugs
Generally pretty solid
2 spare sets of wheels, one with good tyres
Odo - Reads 1,200 miles - I suspect 101,200 is more accurate
Loads of history back to when the car was new
Bad Parts -
Leaky sunroof - although not as bad as it was!
Interior - Pretty tatty, usual cracked dash
Heater stuck on slightly warm - this was replaced with a new part, however I suspect this was off a 944, hence it still putting quite warm air
Usual 924 hot start issue
Some corrosion to the front offside wing - advised on MOT
Gear linkage - Popped off and was hastily repaired at the site of the road - will select all gears, but 1st is a challenge - needs adjusting
Rear brakes - I'm hoping to mend this but as it stands something has come adrift in the offside rear brake drum, its currently not functioning nor is the handbrake.
That pretty much sums it up, it has had some love but needs a bit more to get in top condition, I simply don't have the time. Will make a cracking rolling restoration for someone. Images are from original advert - i'll get some more detailed ones up tomorrow - it hasnt changed much to be fair.
