ok so following a transmission breakdown last week, I have now lost enthusiasm for my project, and cannot give it the attention or time it requires. so would like to pass it on to someone who can.
The cars details are below:
Volvo 1.4 two door shell (trundle2) red
Volvo b18ft (1.7 turbo engine) runninr rich mod ecu, and recently had the fuel system overhauled (at a cost of around £1000)
new, old stock petrol tank, Subaru impreza lift pump. bosch 044 motorsport pump, full Teflon/stainless lines. an8/an6 fittings. adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
battery relocated to boot, dry cell red top ultima battery. internal battery isolation
central locking, electric windows.
twin 12" fans, on kenlowe controller.
atmospheric group b dump valve.
front mount intercooler.
engine circa 80k when installed. has been used a handful of times, and one track day at brands. rear axle modified to accept sierra rear disks and calipers. for escort anti tramp arms. all polybushed.
front polybushed drop links.
front pi lowering springs, adjustable shock inserts.
rota grid 8x15/7x15 wheels, with nangkang tyres.
12" pioneer subwoofer and amplifier combination, sony x plod head unit. aftermarket speakers in doors, 13cm components in boot voids. have a roll of acoustic carpet and glue to finish.
and much, much more that ive probably forgotten over the years.
I have many receipts for parts/ work carried out. full v5 is present and correct.
I will also include a pair of custom made front coil overs, with big four pot (240) caliper upgrade, and adjustable shock inserts. Also a custom made pedal box with independent master cylinders. with many new parts. including stainless lines and fittings. assembled using new parts (bearings, hubs, studs etc)
A good amount of new and refurbished parts were used in its construction, and although the price might seem a bit high, this is reflected in the quality of the parts used and time consumed.
this vehicle really has consumed a massive part of my life, and wallet. and now has to go. unfortunately at a loss.
The important bit:
following a recent venture out, to gain some video footage to assist the sale.
The bellhousing let go, causing the prop to break the front of the gearbox mount off. the prop is intact and serviceable (reco prop metal twin uj) however the gearbox, and bellhousing will need replacing.
I will include the parts required for repair in the sale unfortunately time dictates the repair unfeasible for myself at the moment.
I strongly recommend viewing the vehicle, as a lot of time and effort has gone into it. unfortunately time and storage has forced my hand, so this must go.
Price is a non negotiable £2500. for a quick sale.
this is far from your standard 340. with 158bhp/221lb trq. This really is a weapon. quick spooling t2, makes boost at around 2.5k and takes off like a rocket.
ideal drifter. show car. general good laugh.
