It happened again. Too many cars, not enough space. Something's gotta give, and I think it's this.
Slightly shabby old Mini which has been lurking in my garage since the MoT expired in the middle of last year. I keep meaning to get on and DO something with it, but motivation is low. Car was originally purchased for Mrs_Pog to trundle to work in etc, but she drove it once to work, once to Asda and that was it. I don't have much use for it neither to be honest. I did use it to pootle about in a fair bit until the MoT lapsed which coincided with us moving house, and I've had lots of housey things to occupy my time since.
This car has had lots of low-quality 'MoT-standard' quick fixes in the past and really wants for someone competent (i.e. not me, LOL!) to give it some love. There's poor DIY spray patches, cracked & crazed paint on the bonnet, and scars on the roof paint from where it's had a union jack removed. It's by no means a total basket-case, and you could have it back on the road pretty quickly, but there is work to do.
It runs, drives, starts, stops etc. Electrical are by Lucas and therefore it is pot luck as to what works and what doesn't. Sometimes everything is fine, sometimes it ain't. I've spent days trying to get to the bottom of all this nonsense and not really achieved much.
Rolling on a nice set of 4-spoke 12" Revos, 2 of which have brand new tyres. Also included is a set of tatty steels.
I have also got a HUGE stack of spares, bits etc lots of which are brand new ex-minispares, plus a whole load of brand new panels including wings, floors etc which are all included.
Note that this is originally a City E with a 998cc carb-fed engine. It is not a genuine Cooper model.
Bring a trailer!
Oh yeah............ [PICS]!!!
