Astonishingly, exactly the same year and colour as last week's breaker, this one, though certainly not concours, is saveable. It's not as rusty and it is running.
It drives quite well and it looks not too bad at all (bar the wheels)
1982 635 CSi Auto. Beige leather comfort interior. Decent rolling restoration prospect I'd say. Sills/floor join is ropey on both sides, rear arches could do with attention. There's a bad bit on the roof and the bits below the rear lights.
However, on the positive side, the wings are new - as good as I've seen - and the inner wings are good too. It's running (early Motronic with 011 ECU), it's driving and it's complete. The chrome work, including both bumpers is good. The interior isn't the worst either. If you're so minded an MoT standard sill repair would see it through its MoT and a rolling restoration could be done at your convenience. The car is complete.
We are currently breaking an identical car so we can supply (at extra cost) some bits to improve it - the boot, sunroof and bonnet, for example, on the breaker are better than this one.
£1500 for forum members only. No offers. It's not breaking just now, but an identical one is if you need anything. I'll get £800 for the wings alone. Even the ECU is worth £150. The rear lights £150, instrument cluster £100, front bumper £250. It's complete and I'd make much, much more breaking it, so I'm not interested in offers.
It's £1500 as it is. You can have it as is or fully restored or anywhere in between to suit your budget and circumstances.
