Ok so ive recently purchased a Carina II as a winter beater. Now usually i have an idea in my head of how to make a car look better but i have met my match. I feel no amount of lows/cool wheels would help its cause. Any ideas or photochops welcome, do your worst!!! Heres the offending purchase,    |

Exact same colour as mine. I've got a refurbed set of TSW stealths on mine but haven't lowered it yet. I personally think they're a great car that need very little mods to look sweet.

The shape isn't too dissimilar to the awesome Shakotan inspired Mazda 626 found elsewhere on this forum, could be something to emulate?  Or touring car rep would be cool too  |

Yup, I don't think he's going to be cutting out the inner arches and rolling around with 50mm of ground clearance. Touring Car is a no-go.
Just follow The Equation; subtract height and add wheels.

Lows does make a difference, also loved them as touring cars but as been said a lot of work to look like them!
Have a set of borbet As, MIM 1900s or renault espace alloys that would fit.

I thought Carina IIs were 5x100? That has four stud hubs! :/ *n Yep thats what i thought, 4x100 54.1 centre bore means loads of choice. I would love to go mad with it but have older stuff that deserves the treatment more than this. |

debumpered? Would love to see one without bumpers. It probable would not work as car shape is a little curved rather than the eighties 3 box squarenss. Still would like to see one.
One for the photoshoppers - what would it look like with the black trim lines changed to body colour?
Sensible head on - Lowered nice set of wheels. :-) as above looks very nice. Light colour change works too
PS Did I mention I would love to see one debumpered!
