I picked this car up about 6 months ago with the intention of doing a full resto on it and keeping it locked away for sunny days. Since owning it it's been stored in a lock up waiting for me to find time to start on it, but now another cars has come up that I want and need to free up some space.
I've done very little with the car since owning it other than accidentally breaking the drivers side window and attempting to start it. I got the fuel pump priming and removed the rocker cover to check the oil was circulating before trying to start it, which it wasn't so I stopped. The last owner assures me it drove I to his yard, although this was 10 years ago, I'm assuming the pick up is blocked with gunk. Because I was going to be pulling the engine out eventually for the resto I didn't bother attempting to sort it.
The cars main problem is rust, from memory it needs work to the bulkhead/battery tray, sill areas and front cross member/chassis legs. As with any old ford there is probably more once you start digging.
It's bone stock and other than the broken window and spots, it's complete (I have replacement headlights for it somewhere). From memory the mileage isn't very high and the interior is in good condition.
It would make a good project for anyone who enjoys welding or would make a good doner car (although imo this would be a shame).
I will get more detailed pics when I get time to pull it out of the lock up through the week.
