It is with a heavy heart I list this car for sale seeing as I put so much effort into getting it back on the road, but another project looms.
MGB GT - Bristol - £1800 ONO
Its a 1973 chrome bumper model, which means it now benefits from being tax exempt and very cheap to insure.
I'll let the pictures do some talking first. I realise I need to wash it, its grubby making it look quite bad. More pics soon..
It will come with 12 months MOT as it is currently SORN and off the road.

Alloy rocker cover
Escort panhard rod
500lbs front race springs
Front end poly-bushed
Recent brake callipers
Rear bushes all replaced
Compomotive 2pc split-rims
One-off exhaust straight through to a cherrybomb rear box
recent new overdrive unit
Interior-
Low back period buckets
3 point harnesses
Nardi woodrim wheel
orange 'cage
Full width period rear view mirror
Exterior-
Satin BRG (TAG Green from Montana) bodywork
Black bonnet
>'72 vertical bar grille (correct '73> grille also with the car)
Lucas swan-neck convex glass wing mirrors (actually usable)
De-reverse-lamped
ABS LE front air dam
Touring car rear duckbill
Hidden driving lamps
This car is, however, not perfect. It has a few cosmetic issues, blemishes, and the bumpers are showing their age.
There is no carpet or sound deadening. It feels like driving a '70's touring car, its brilliant. Throw it at some country lanes and it really comes alive.
It is an ideal car to go straight onto the road and be tidied and worked on as a little rolling project, as it wants for very little; all the welding was done when I bare-metal rebuilt it. It would benefit from some more cavity wax, but it needs no restoration in the metalwork department.
Currently, the only thing needing some attention is the fuel gauge is best described as in-op. I believe it to be an issue with the gauge or voltage regulator, both easy and cheap to replace as it had had a recent new tank and sender before we got the car.
Otherwise, everything else works as should, even though visually the under-bonnet wiring leaves a little to be desired.
Test drives and viewings welcome, I can take it out on trade plates to demo it, give me a call on 07521025342 to arrange or message me.
Any questions, same, don't hestitate to contact.
