Bought this recently from an old gent in Bristol who is not associated with this site. Started using it for short commutes to work and didn't notice any issues.
Its done 63,000 ish miles, some service history etc. and it drives great. Steering is nice, brakes are good. No power anything.
After a while, I realised that the heater wasn't working properly so I dropped it into my garage and they diagnosed a blown head gasket. The previous owner had removed the thermostat to ensure that the car never cuts out when it overheats.
Still runs and drives very well (obviously gets rather warm after a while).
Still has 9 months MOT left and drives very well
Body is decent with a fair few dents and scratches but next to no rust (Not even underneath).
If you can do the work yourself then it would be worth it as the MPG is off the charts. £8 worth of diesel will get you over 100 miles!
The local scrap yard want to charge me for collection and webuyanycar will pay £75 for it. If you can offer me more than that then you can have it. Just bought a new car so it has to go ASAP. As in tomorrow if possible, want it out of my sight!
