I can no longer hide the fact i want/need my S3 back on the road so to free up some cash this is gonna have to go.
Base car is a 1990 alpine white CL 1.6 (pretty much all thats left of this is the bodyshell and dashboard)
Donor car was my 1996 golf vr6 which i ran for a year previous to building this (see project thread for pics of that)
Base car had about 112k, the mk3 clocks in the car now show 140k which is correct to the oily bits.
12 months mot, passed no trouble, but then so it bloody should!!!
Fully polybushed
Every brake pipe is new with dot 5 fluid
Every ball joint is new
Solid front mount made by meeee
S2000 air filter, 10mm leads
Coilovers of unknown origin, all unseized
Straight through stainless system, has a flexi in now but i was too late and it snapped the 6 branch, now has cast manifold on it. Still sounds evil. See my thread for video.
Widetracked with all the mk3 subframe and rear beam
288mm front brakes, rear discs, 22mm MC
Inside its bare. Omp 6 point cage, i have the door bars but no brackets. Tatty cobra monaco drivers bucket on a modified mk2 base. Rainbow passenger seat is in and i have the rest of them. Mk3 clocks and stalks with fully working mfa, corrado g60 wheel
Now the bad...
To make it track ready it needs another silencer and some door cards, i have various materials to make some and to plate over the sunroof. Tracking needs doing properly however I'm trying to get this sorted. Body is sound but rough in places, mostly front wings but i have a brand new pair. In fact i have loads of spares, choice of grilles and interior bits, the broken 6 branch is also there but i find it better without it.
I'm open to px with cash my way as long as i get enough to sort the other car. Something like a mk4 1.8t or similar, nothing slow. Be aware this isn't a daily unless you have big balls. Its very quick, but equally uncomfortable.
