So, this is a 9hp 2 door 4 seat saloon from the Standard Motor Company in Coventry, presented in "Peasant Blue" with blue interior trim.
It's a lovely little original honest motor, with only 4 (IIRC) previous keepers.
It's in full working order, and the little sidevalve engine runs sweetly.
A full set of new crossplies and tubes recently fitted, along with brake linings.
Comes equipped with sunroof, 12v electrics, electric start and FOUR! wind down windows.
4 speed gearbox with synchro on 2,3&4
Totally usable as it stands now and would require little work to make perfect.
If I'm honest, some of the brightwork could do with replating and the front seats recovering. However I feel that would detract from it's character.
Genuine little unmolested car.
This is a rare car now, and they don't often come up for sale in this kind of condition and will only increase in value.
