EXTERIOR
The exterior of this car is finished in VW Helios Blue there are a few minor marks for a car of this age but most importantly no rust. The car is fitted with G60 arches that have a few stone rashes in the usual spots for a wide arch car. The arches have been fitted correctly and sealed so there are no nasty surprises hidden behind them. The car also has big bumpers fitted along with the Early 7 slat grill, smoked front indicators, GTI side repeater blanks, GTI side mouldings and a US rear number plate tub.
INTERIOR
The interior is fitted with a pair of Vitesse Recaros up front, MK2 GTI leather rear bench and GTI door cards. The dash has no cracks and everything works as it should. There is a boost gauge fitted inside the air vent and the backlight is matched to the standard Volkswagen clocks. Black headliner, Volkswagen Mats, Leather MOMO steering wheel with carbon wrap on centre. Custom G60 carbon effect battery cover in boot.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The engine is a 1.8 G60 from a Corrado. It has a stage 4 charger just rebuilt by Jabba Sport, front mount hidden behind the grill all polished pipework, Blue Samco hoses, Polished throttle body and rocker cover, Custom radiator, Custom CNC’d front engine mount, High lift camshaft, Uprated pistons, Flowed head, Oil splash guard, Uprated sump plug.
The car has only been serviced with Castrol GTX and all fluids replaced. As stated above the charger has just been rebuilt by Jabba Sport along with new V Belt and 68mm Pulley. Also has a full stainless Scorpion exhaust with twin exit.
Gearbox is a G60 5 Speed with VR6 clutch and flywheel.
All suspension has just been replaced before MOT which included new Wishbones, Ball joints, Anti roll bar bushes, Track rod ends, Top mounts and Top plates. The new coilovers in the car are JOM NJT Extreme that has adjustable damping to 10 points. Also fitted is a rear upper strut brace and an Ultra Racing lower front strut brace. Battery has been relocated to the boot and is only 1 week old. Washer bottle is relocated into the boot and was re piped about a month ago.
WHEELS TYRES & BRAKES
Wheels currently fitted to the car are brand new 15” x 8j 7Twenty Style 44 finished in bronze and 4 brand new Uniroyal Rain Sport 3’s 195/50R15.
Front brakes on the car are G60 hubs and callipers with cross drilled and grooved discs from MTEC Brakes and Mintex pads. The rear brakes are GTI with OEM discs and Mintex Pads. Also has Goodridge braided lines front and rear.
AUDIO
Headunit is a JVC with auxiliary port and front USB also has a rear USB that has an iphone lead in the ash tray that can be easily hidden.
Speakers in the front consist of the stock tweeter on the top of dash, Vibe Slick 5.25” in the door cards and Vibe Slick 4” on the rear. Speakers have been fitted in place of the OEM holes so no rash cuts in the door cards or rear shelf. 12” Sony Xplod subwoofer located in boot.
There has been no expense spared on this car and needs to be seen to be appreciated. Price is £4000 with the new 7twenty alloys or £3500 for the car supplied on standard steels.
