Ive had the old girl as my run around for 18 months or so and done quite a few miles in it,ive moved onto something else and its time for her to go.
the good
car runs brilliant, never over heats, never skips a beat,doesnt use oil or smoke, petrol or lpg theres plenty of power when you need it.
everything electrical bar the sunroof works,which is alot, pretty much everything is electric, seats, windows, mirrors etc.
good bodywork for its age, theres a few minor marks but no damage of any note, no rust anywhere.
good tyres all round on the earlyer v70 alloys, i have the old ones if anyone wants them.
thousands upon thousands of pounds of service history, including recipts for lpg conversion, rear seats fold up to give you 7 seats, or fold down with the back ones to give you enough room for a coffin, or similarly sized box.
towbar fitted, ive gone retro and fitted an early normal style plug rather than the daft euro one that needs adaptors to fit anything.
long mot, august next year, it failed on tyres, which ive changed, rear wheel bearings, which ive changed, and was advised on a blow on the exhaust at the front and a broken hanger at the back.
the bad
shes got a few lights on under the dash, since the wheel bearings were done the abs light shows up most of the time, but not all. service light is on, it got oil and a filter at the start of the year, but i don't have the kit to turn the light of, engine managment comes on when the lpg is being used, do 15 miles on petrol it goes out, its done this since i got it. and she does suffer as alot of volvos of this age do, with "shift flare" when its hot and is driven stop start, but its done this since i got it and hasnt got any worse.
any questions please ask, test drives are fine, but she isnt taxed anymore, so its at your own risk!
i wouldnt swap for anything rwd interesting as a project as per forum rules
