Right, I'm afraid it's time that I put my Fiesta up for sale.
Model: Ford Fiesta Popular Plus.
Year: 1990
Engine Size: 1.1
Mileage: 66,633
MOT: NONE
Location: North Petherton, Somerset.
Description: I acquired this car from my Nan in 2009 as my first ever car and it has been within my household ever since. We're not entirely sure but we think it's been in the family for around 20 years. I would love to keep it and do something with it but unfortunatley I don't really have the space, money or time to sort it alongside my MK1 Fiesta. The car has been looked after well while it was in daily use up until January of last year when it was parked up in my Nan's garage. I have since brought it home to clean it up to sell.
The car has no MOT (ran out in February 2014), i'm not really sure what it needs to pass another but I would say it will more than likely need some welding and tyres at the very leat. It starts and runs as it should, the engine really is sweet.
The major downfall of the car is, as with most Fords of this age, is the bodywork. Strangly the drivers side isnt't too bad but the passenger side will need some work. Mainly the rear arch and around the fuel filler cap. The arches have been welded before but the rust is coming back through. There is also some rot on the boot lid at the back of the car. Apart from that the rest on the bodywork is pretty good. The floorpan is very good, as can be seen in the photos below. The passenger door has a slight patch where the paint is a slightly different colour.
Another issue is that the bonnet pull lever has become weak and probably ought to be replaced.

The following photos show the floorpan of the car after I removed the interior:
The rear seats have not been put back in as the thread was knackered on the seat belt bolt. (They will of course come with the car though).
In terms of the price I put £225. I would love for the car to go to an enthusiastic who will look after it.
The car will need to be trailered away as it is not MOT'ed however I may be able to help with a trailer for the cost of fuel etc.
I have tried to describe the car the best as I can however, if you require any more details or would like to come for a viewing please don't hesitate to contact me. PM me and I will happily give you my phone number.
