Last year I sold my Rover P6B
Due to SWMBO finding it uncomfortable (it took her 4 years to tell me!)
So I put the family retainer back on the road after 11yrs
But due to a left leg/knee which doesn't work properly I needed an auto for busy traffic, so the hunt began. I don't need a hooligan car, I've the Escort so I started looking for a Mk1 Golf Cabrio, Oh dear did i kiss some frogs.
I then thought what is relevant to me, so I moved to GM and looked at cavalier cabrios, sick of being lied to I thought Magnum /Firenza Coupes, nothing with a slush.
Then I remembered a Manta I had seen, and as I taught my wife to drive in a 2dr mk1 Cavalier 1256, so a tenous link was there, some emails and phone calls were made, photos exchanged and when I received this one I lost my heart to a low powered base spec 1976 Manta B auto
So I bought it, it needs a little fettling, but it's sooo knuckle biting cute.
