For sale, 1980 Mk 2 Escort rolling project.
Taken in px, and needs some tlc to finish it off and make a great car.
Starts, runs and drives, and has MOT until mid-Feb 2016.

Fitted with 2.0 pinto 202 low comp race rally engine
Acrilite pistons
Ported head
High lift kent cam
Alloy sump
Alloy rad
Samco hoses
Twin webber carb (this has no filter on it)
5 speed box
Competition clutch
Fully re-furbed front bilstiens
Vented discs
Mondeo st calipers
Rear gaz shocks
Ashley Stainless exhaust (not the headers)
It was fully painted in Daytona yellow about a year ago. Paint job is ok, but there is a fair bit of overspray in areas (rear springs, dash vents) and there is some bubbling on the drivers door
Fitted with a set of brand new deep dish mini lights
Interior is where it really needs some love. Fitted with RS Turbo recaros and the original back seat (drivers seat has some edge wear to the beading).
Needs carpet fitting (supplied)
Has an old school RS steering wheel. Dash needs tidying.
Needs new headliner fitting (replacement supplied).
It also needs a new steering rack fitting. It is ok to move it around at very low speed, but does need doing. New steering rack supplied with the car.
The exterior rear door handles don't work - and I haven't investigated.
Door cards are all present, but are red.
I don't know how to price it, as it needs work - but it's a good car and has no major issues. I've put it on ebay at £6500 or offers. I'm open to conversation and sensible offers, and may take px (but to be honest any px needs to have MOT and I need some money my way).
