    22,000 miles from new! I bought this lovely little Micra 1.0 3 door from an auction however I underestimated the delivery cost down to me, had some high quotes.. it is a long way to Sussex! Therefore I'm offering it as-is, where is to cover my cost. Someone's chance for a bargain. It will need a new ignition lock and tailgate lock as a bare minimum but what a sweet little 3 door micra with 22,000 miles. Insurance company have of course cat Cd it annoyingly because stolen/recovered. Would someone like to take this little gem? you will have to pick up from the auction house at Peterlee in the next few days . I think it really deserves to be saved. Hard to tell exactly how good it is, but it looks good, but of course no way i can guarantee anything on it for obvious reasons. |

From the damage I'm assuming stolen and recovered? Will it start and drive away as it is? MoT?

Yes and I don't know i'm afraid, it could have a flat battery, out of petrol, or something else, I literally have no idea sorry.

Someone has to save this - if not, I'll drive it down to you for the price of a train, bus or plane ticket home. Serious offer, I'm only half an hour from Peterlee.
Assuming it starts and drives, and is road legal of course. If necessary can book an MoT near you and drive it down, as long as everything else is OK.
I am hugely biased as I had one of these (a lot less tidy) as my first car, same interior and everything!

Is this at a copart? They do have some fees like and their storage fees are interesting too if not collected within 7 days. I'm local to their depot and often make collections, if its there and balance cleared, I can collect for you and have it delivered when your ready, weeks are ok, I could get it to you for around 200. Let me know if that's any use

The VIC check has been abolished
Cars beyond economical repair will still get a cat C marker, the v5 is free to apply for now too but the "substatinally damaged and/or repaired" will be visible on the foot of the new v5, cat D will only show on a history check.
Lovely little car though, what a bargain.

Yes Copart. Yes they really know how to invent charges, like ticket agents! A fee for 'getting the car from the other side of the carpark for you' and the 'internet convenience fee' are a couple that spring to mind in addition to the hammer tax, VAT, and the fact that you have to pay a membership fee every year just to be able to bid.

 Here now Have had a look round it. Starts and seems to run fine. tailgate is damaged around the lock cylinder (whoever stole it is obviously a thicko because you can just fold the seat down to get into the boot) I am looking to sell this car AT COST PRICE. It cost me £235 to get it here so it stands me in at about £500. It has MOT until April 2016. Good tyres. Will need some TLC / cleaning etc as well as the locks issue of course. I am really hoping it is worth this to someone as these will be collectable one day I'm sure. |
