It's a weird one and the second time this has happened...
A friend had given his car in for repair, and as I wasn't using it recently, I let him borrow it for a few days. On the 1st night, he called me and said he wants it. He drove them back in the day for his boss, always hankered after one and after driving it, seems he was smitten and bitten by the Jag bug! He is local, so I will have the pleasure of seeing it around.
Back in 2013, I lent one to a colleague, and he too was bitten and purchased it off me the very next day - I wasn't even intending to sell it at the time.
They do have their faults, but there is something about a well sorted XJ that not many other, even high end motors, can match. They have a unique magic carpet ride, waft along seamlessly and will hold their own against a lot of modern machinery.
