With my better half's '67 beetle, my type3 and my golf I have come to the conclusion that I will never get time to do anything with this car and now that the V5 has returned in my name (what a chore that was) its time to start selling it.
Garaged for the last 13 years I rescued it from its dark cell back in August.
The car is solid and complete but will need re-commissioning as the brakes and engine will need to be thoroughly checked over before an MOT due to the length of time it has been laid up.
1600 twin port engine, kadron exhaust (remember them?) and lots of small custom touches.
Floor pans will need painted and sealed as the paint has gone flakey and the body work wont win any show and shine competitions as the paint has faded, it could do with a rear wing and there are a few spots of surface rust.
All this car seems to need is a bit of easy mechanical work and a paint. You wont find an easier 60's beetle project.
