I'm listing this Land Rover on behalf of my dad.
He bought this earlier this year as a project and has done a lot of work to it but due to health reasons he' decided to put it up for sale.
I drove the vehicle this evening to take the photos etc. and noted the following (it's MOT'd until about March 2016);
Engine idle a bit lumpy, as stated the vehicle has been standing and I suspect it probably needs a bit of a service.
Clutch, gears and brakes all seem to work fine. Brakes not great but not much if any than most series Landy's.
Indicators seem to have a mind of their own.
I didn't crawl all over it but looks like the gearbox cross member may need replacing soon, Rear cross member is fairly new, chassis has other repairs.
The seats are from a fairly new VW Polo and are very comfy!
In my opinion this would make a great practical classic with a small amount of work.
Unusually the chassis number is still clear on the front dumb iron so the vehicle could be exported to the USA.
If you require any further info. or to arrange a veiwing it's probably best to contact him direct on , his name is Tom.
