1990 AUDI 90 2.3E Auto. 132,000 miles. NO MOT or TAX
I bought this off of a customer of the garage where I work as he had it stood for a year after buying a new car. Not really sure why but I realised i'm never going to do anything with it. Its not in too bad condition for it age but a bit tatty, having a previous poor repaint many moons ago! It has been stood for a year so the brakes are all rusty and the nearside rear brake sticks and the handbrake doesn't do a lot. There is some sort of earth fault with the lights as when you brake it puts one of the sidelights on. The auto start inhibitor only allows you to start in in neutral, but not much of a problem. The ignition barrel is worn out so its had a start button fitted.It had a spoiler fitted which i took off but will be included. The towbar wiring has been cut and removed.
It was stood for a year and fired straight up with no hesitation with a jump start! Intermittent noise from one of the tappets but I drove it a mile back to the garage with no problems.
It has a lot of paperwork for work carried out in the last few years including new front shocks,fuel pressure regulator, plug leads and distributor cap. Was very reliable for the previous owner, he used it to go back and forward to bristol most weeks, he bought another car as his mrs never liked this one. I have 2 sets of keys and the logbook is now in my name. Overall this is a nice old car and with a little work could be bought back to a decent standard. I was going to fix it and use it as a hack, but not really interested anymore. Please message through here if interested and ill get back to you asap.
