Hello all!
I'm looking at chopping the springs on my C250. I see I will require a specific Mercedes Spring compression tool to safely remove the springs.
Does anyone have access to said tool for me to borrow? Or, can someone advise me on a method without using the tool?

Trying to do it without the special tool could end up being a disaster. Buying lots of normal compressors instead of the proper kit is a total false economy, I could have bought the proper kit with what I spent replacing the normal compressors that got knackered and had to be cut off when I was swapping the springs on one of my W124s.
You might be able to make one of the internal type if you can't borrow a set?
