my son god father Freelander. Believed to be the clutch release arm is siezed and requires replacement ( New arm inc in sale).
I drove it back from the car park it failed in and it drives well but he is unwilling to spend the money to carry out the repairs so it has been left at my house., I now have two cars outside my house that don't belong to me.
Other faults are:
No rear prop shaft
The exhaust is blowing ( I suspect from the flexi join/ manifold gasket)
No Radio
Of course there may be other faults, but this is from a 2 minute walk around.
MOT Dec
with the exception of one rust bubble on a door near the window it's a clean and tidy car which seems to of had a sheltered life.
Obviously no clutch but I managed to drive it home without crunching the gears!
I think the idea was if it was left at mine I would fix it, but I simply don't have a day spare to pull the box off and change the release arm.
On ebay for £350 but make him a offer,.
