1995 BMW 525i Sport, with MOT until April '16.
This is a last of the line Sport model E34 with the revered M50 iron block engine, one of the best engines ever to come out of BMWs factory. The car has covered 171,650 miles and does not miss a beat. It has been reasonably well looked after by previous enthusiast owners, with a recent tidy up which included a replacement interior. It now sports a rare set of dark grey cloth Sport seats with full black dash and door cards.
On the exterior, it has factory fitted clear indicator lenses all round, and there are no scrapes, rust or dents to mention. All trims are in place, and all electrics work as they should.
To the mechanicals, and the engine comes up to temperature and remains there, and has no leaks; the manual gearbox is accurate and not sloppy, the LSD performs as it should, and the standard original exhaust has a nice six-cylinder rasp to it. The sport suspension is in good condition and the ride is not at all harsh.
The wheels are 17 inch Style 5 split rim BBS RC090 8" alloys with good 235 profile tyres all round. They are straight and true, but could do with a polish if you intended to show the car.
NB: The car is available on a set of standard Sport 15" BBS wheels if you prefer. The price will be £400 less if you take this option.
These are an appreciating classic and are garnering interest rapidly at the moment. This car is in great condition with a little bit of room for improvement to be immaculate and could represent a good investment car or is also perfectly usable daily with all modern comforts despite its 20 years of service.
Price is £2495 and viewing is welcome by arrangement.
