just bought a house with the misses and i have a man shed to organise, don't have access to the garden that is big enough for a car but bikes will fit nicely in the shed that is there atm, current setup is around 6ft wide 8ft long and tall enough for me at 6ft to stand in, been looking for inspiration for layouts but they seem to be hidden on tinterweb, all suggestions welcome especially funky multi purpose affairs i have even thought of tearing it down to build a stronger frame so i can hand bikes or engines and boxes from the central beam then cladding it myself. cheers steve

Get some photo's up. If you're really clever about layout you might get away with 6x8, but personally I'd per pulling it down and building something as big as you can get away with....

If you build something yourself you might be able to utilise the space better , i.e , door where you want it and flush with the ground , or off to one size , more roof space, stronger construction [ bikes up in the air ], or making it fit the space you have better .
