Hello,
Fancy a chunk of amazing British engineering? Me too! But in the meantime you might be interested in buying my 21yr old Range Rover classic. Here are a few points to hopefully answer some questions and lure you in to coming to see it.
Five speed manual gearbox, R380 box. I had a new clutch fitted last year.
Soft dash model, so it's got the modern, more refined interior much like that of a Discovery.
Brand new MOT, expires September 2016
Only thing it failed on was ABS light, so it's had new sensors and pump. New front disc back plates too as they were corroded
Coil springs all round, I believe it was ordered this way rather than having them retro fitted
Brand new professionally fitted headlining
Four really good General Grabber tyres on refurbed alloys
Alloy top tailgate
Very solid, it's been extensively welded and waxoiled throughout, inner wings, rear crossmember and sills all good. Rest is the same.
Manually adjusted seats, so no problematic electrics to stop play
Teddy bear upholstery, no leather that's too cold/hot or cracked
Allard uprated intercooler and piping, it pulls really well
Indicated mileage of 237K, with a new engine at 148K
Interior is really clean, with parcel shelf and accessories like the fire extinguisher still in place
Factory fit Becker head unit, speakers and sub woofer
It was recorded as having substantial damage two years ago, this was a minor accident that required a new wing, drivers door and the whole car was resprayed. This is not a CAT C, D or otherwise but is mentioned on the log book.
I am selling because I don't use it, I bought it after selling a Suffix A Range Rover and it's sat here for a year now. I did one long trip of 600 miles in it back in March, which it performed perfectly for.
I'd drive it to Africa or Finland tomorrow, I just don't have the time... And a whole stack of other cars and a housebuild to pay for. This owes me nearly 6K, so my loss
Send me a PM on here or call 07798 six 23253, come and see it, I can take you on road or off road.
