This is my MK4 XR3 Cabriolet project
The car is a 1989 model with factory fit Ford electric roof (not aftermarket model or one with cog which goes wrong)
The shell in general is in very good condition but does need a bit of welding by the drivers side seat belt mount.
The battery tray area and fuse box area have a little surface rust but does not seem to have gone through, so can be saved with a little rust treatment and primer.
The car has had some modifications in the past which can be seen in the pics

Alarm with central locking

Stereo with speakers
RS Turbo kit
I'm sure there are bits I have missed
The car looks to have had a respray in the past, a new radiator, new carb and a new Mohair roof.
The automatic choke is working but the carb does need to be tuned up as it runs rich.
I bought the car as a project over the summer and took it in for an MOT at a local garage so I knew what to tackle first.
Since the MOT I have been realy busy with work and have not been able to spend any time on the car.
So I have decided to sell the car on to someone with a bit more time than I have.
Please see pics for MOT results which show most items are simple items which can be done by anyone competent with a screwdriver and a couple of spanners
I am open to offers £1000.00
