I ordinarily wouldnt bother with stuff like this, but by all accounts, Safranes are genuinely getting very rare, less than 300 still on UK roads, so rather than just bin this off, i thought id give it one final chance of life.
Its a 1996 Renault Safrane 2.5DT Executive in metallic blue. Only just crossed 100,000 miles.
Condition is less than stellar, shes not a basket case, but she needs some TLC, broken bits of trim, rust on rear arches, ABS warning, battery is absolutely useless.
She drives ok, decent amount of power when Turbo spools up.
Electric windows, electric sunroof, dark grey leather interior, airbags abs, immobiliser, remote locking, tape player, power steering, aircon, alloy wheels, catalytic converter.
Has two keys and logbook, can be jump started and driven.
If theres any genuine interest, i can put up pics, but I'm not holding any hope.
£150 is all i want for it, poor old bird doesnt deserve to be binned.

Ok, well that'll be me that's taken on the gauntlet in my quest to own the world's most desirable automotive transport I will be creating a separate post in readers rides later in which I shall regale fellow members with a grand tale of how a wasp can impede vehicular motion and we'll try to find out exactly how many toilet rolls the previous owner has managed to squirrel away inside.

Ahem.....and cough, wasp? Dunno what you are talking about....sounds like a fantastic but ultimately secret story. Truck flew on the way back, was actually a pleasure to drive lol

Hey guys, apologies for not getting a thread up for this yet, work has been super busy. Took it for Mot this morning at local Renault stealer, who laughed and said the Safrane was known as the devils car when it was launched such as its unreliability. I was therefore gobsmacked when they called to say the car was not only ready for collection and had not only passed the Mot but had done so with NO advisories. It was proclaimed as a devine miracle as apparently it the only Safrane ever in the history of time to achieve an Mot pass at the first attempt
