Japanese import S-Special model - different to the uk spec as the engine revs higher, gear ratios on the 6 speed manual box are shorter and it left the factory with the Torsen type 2 limited slip diff and Bilstein shocks. All these give it a much sportier feel than the uk spec car.
The car has a high spec with a 6 speed gearbox, BOSE speakers, heated leather seats, aircon (needs gassing), ABS, remote central locking, electric windows, electric wing mirrors, airbags, alarm, immobiliser, leather Nardi Torino steering wheel (slightly smaller than the Uk one) and a mohair roof with heated glass rear window.
The car was vinyl wrapped about 3 months ago in blue which looks pretty decent in my opinion. The vinyl manufacturer warranties the vinyl for 5 years and the car is silver underneath, it's also been re-registered as blue so there's no insurance implications. It doesn't look like fresh paint by any means and has some imperfections, but I'd certainly say it looks better than I'd expect paint on a car of this age to look. From about 5 feet away I'd say it looks extremely tidy but any closer and you can see the odd bit here and there. I also had a load of additional vinyl left over which the buyer can have, probably enough to redo nearly half the car again.
The car was imported in 2001 and I'm it's 5th owner since then. The car passed its MOT about 4 months ago with no advisories. The car has NO ROT! Chassis rails are solid and sills are fine!
The car has a K&N panel filter and a J twin exit sports exhaust, I wouldn't consider it loud at all, just makes the car sound a little sportier than standard. It also has some nice JDM features like a Roadster document holder behind the passenger seat and a Roadster boot liner which I've seen sell for well over £100 on their own. New battery was fitted around Christmas time, cambelt was changed in 2012, fluids and filters were changed about 4k miles ago and tyres are ok (also have two part worn tyres which I can include if the buyer wants them).
114,000 miles.
Bad points are that the mohair roof has some mildew which should clean off, the wheels are tatty, definitely worth replacing / refurbing, and the drivers seat bolster is a bit scuffed. Again this should be repairable as it's not ripped at all, just scuffed.
