Great work! Really nice build with good photos and attention to detail. Being an ex 128 guy I wish we had the 127 here in the states but they were never imported. I've always wondered. What Italian makes and models are/were officially available? From say 1950 to now in the States? I don't go back to the 50s but Fiats 600,850,124, X11/9, 131/Brava until 1980.(I've had all of those at some point) Lancias thru the Beta Zagato. Alfa after the Berlina only the spider,75 and the 164 to the early 90s. Of course Ferrari and Lamborghini have been here and Maserati stopped with Biturbo until the new v8 cars came. For a while (80s-90s) it was difficult to keep the Fiats on the road but gradually specialist suppliers came to be and then the internet made easier than ever to get parts.

It's sad to hear so many nice cars were kept away from you guys...

BTW, where did you get the coilovers, are they front and back, and are they expensive?

Stunning! Truly well done! I love the yellow accents, especially on the exhaust!

Hello from Ireland, this is my brother's 1979 1050 Sport. We've had at least one 127 in our family since 1987.

Nice find with the leaf spring, is it a straight bolt on job, or does it need adjustments? How much lower does it get with that particular spring. Any detail photos?

She's finished, now still doing a few bits and pieces... (heater radiator, column switches have to be changed, and something steering related) I have all the parts, just need to install them.
Haven't had the chance for a decent shoot yet. And now with the winter coming it might be even harder.
She drives great though! I am really satisfied with how she turned out.
I'd like to add some quick photos I took, but I'm on my cell. Apparently, there is one way to add in pics in browser on your phone, who in the forum is responsible for this? Could this be achieved?
Edit : there is NO way.
