I've just taken this in part exchange, and was going to break it for the VW boys to have a good engine, loom, ECU etc for a camper or Beetle. However, it'll be a few weeks until I get time to do this.
So, it's got MOT until September 17th with no advisories. 2.5 AWD automatic. Has been in daily use, and drives fine. Green over silver.
So, what wrong with it? It's got a fuel leak from the tank. It's quite bad, but didn't stop the previous owner using it daily. Obviously, won't pass another MOT like this, but a good used tank is included FOC. I think there's a micro switch fault on the gearbox too. Changes gear and works as it should, but you sometimes need to move the lever around to start it and to select reverse. Apart from this, all seems good.
No advisories on the last MOT, and only done around 1000 miles since. Currently on 161k.
Based in Chesterfield, and it's £450 firm as this is what I can get for the engine, loom and ECU.
Not retro. Not cool. Not exciting. Might be a good, cheap estate car for someone though.
