Alright gang listen carefully I shall say this only once
This B310 sunny is currently in my barn in France. God knows when I'm ever gonna get round to doing anything with it. I want to take my old Hyundai Pony over there and stash it away, so my idea is to tow it over and bring this back on the trailer, to make space in the barn and cover some of the costs of the trip by selling it. If no-one is interested in this Datsun of course theres no point doing it. So, I am hoping someone will take a shine to it and agree to buy it, pay a small deposit, then I will fetch it back for them. Obv if when its back the buyer thinks I've misdescribed it or whatever they don't have to complete the sale, but I will be honest about the state its in so hopefully that won't happen. I plan to go over the weekend of 5th Sept or possibly the week after. The car will then need to be collected from Uttoxeter or Nantwich before the end of September (might be able to deliver if its not a massive ballache).
So on to the car. I bought this in about 2004/5 from some lad on the French/Swiss border. Its on French plates and I have the french reg document (carte grise). It does actually start, run and drive but the brakes are rubbish, tyres perished and the exhaust has rotted off. Also the gearlever spins round in your hand which is annoying but it does select all gears OK and the gearbox is healthy. (4-speed box) Its pretty original and unmessed with but does have some rust problems, mainly in the front door bottoms. The bodyshell is actually remarkably sound, with original sills and arches, nice panel gaps and straight front wings. Its not hopelessly rotten by any means though I can't guarantee it wont need any welding. The interior is black and a bit grubby but in decent condition, think it will scrub up pretty nice although the drivers footwell carpet is a bit threadbare. Got to be honest I can't remember the mileage but I have driven it about a bit when i first got it and it was pretty healthy mechanically, the engine is sweet.
Thought I had more photos but I'm struggling to find the others, I will have a dig on my old hard drive and see if I can find em.
I'm gonna ask for £350 and see where we go, I know these old rwd japanese heaps are worth a bit more than they were 10 years ago when i bought this (for £150 I think!!!) but I also know this isn't exactly a 610 bluebird SSS or whatever and theres a bit of a 'gamble' feeling involved for the buyer. If you are seriously interested give me a call and we can discuss it a bit. Admin wise, I will sort the NOVA bo11ocks. With that, the french carte grise and a UK MOT you can just send off to DVLA and they will register it, think theres a £50 fee on top of the cost of your tax disc for the registration fee but its not too painful. No import taxes etc to pay cos we're all in the EU innit!!!
