I'm looking at playing with/collecting some cool alloys that i can rotate on my cars as the mood takes me.
I am finding it hard to find a source. Advan, volk, Work, SSR, etc.
Are there such dealers trading?
Has anyone got experience of buying from yahoo auction in japan using the buyee (i think) link?
I tried for some Advan SA3A's but had a Buyee message saying auction was closed due to shipping such an item and did i want them to open it. I chickened out at that point!
Cheers Stu

are you part of the facebook groups "wheel trader" and "wheels for sale and swap"? Loads of copies of proper wheels get sold on there but there is also a healthy amount of decent wheels from time to time. Lots of traders post on there too, helps that facebook now has a search function so you can now look for specific wheels within the groups. there is also the obvious wheel whores site, other places to look are the forums for owners of cars that may use those sorts of wheels. There is a very nice set of A3A's for sale 14" x 6.5J, 4 x 114.3 £580 if you ask the right person www.rimscarnated.com/

Shipping is the issue, loads for sale overseas. I'd like some more Tosco wheels, one day. I'll keep an eye on here if a decent source comes up.

Check out jdmdistro.com. Based in Ireland but ship anywhere. They sent 3 pairs of SSR MKIIs to the UK last week, in fact. I got my wide Equips from there, picked up a set of 8.5j Wats there with a mate the other week. Tell them Jason with the red old school RX7 sent ya

Be aware you may get stung import duty, shipping via air freight is a lot of money compared to sea but air takes days where sea takes months. Ive had a few sets and parts shipped from Japan and dodged import but a friend got quite a charge when his wheels came in.

jdmwheels.com.auI've been following these guys in Facebook for a while and seem like a good souce. Some wheels come with shipping included, but as previously said, possibly liable for import tax.
