This car has been owned by my friend Jeff since 1997 (18 years) when he bought it from a VW main dealer for £10,500. since then he has looked after it as best he could, there is a huge book of invoices detailing all the work undertaken to take it up to the current milage, recently it has had a gearbox fitted from a low miles car as the old one was worn out, a different engine with new rings and refurbed head. New front tyres, rear tyres good, new handrake cables and new rear shocks. Very reliable in factory spec. Needs a new clutch which can be taken care of before purchase at cost. you can see from the pictures that it is in good order though the paint is not perfect with age related swirls and scratches. Jeff is confident that it should pass its next MOT with no major issues.
