Hi I know the best method is putting new metal in. But i have a couple areas that are awkward to get at and i currently don't have the time to deal with properly. So whats the best thing to use. Jelonite? Kurust? etc etc. Any help appreciated. and for your help here is a photo of a cat driving a car

The usual over the counter rust converters are a waste of time.
You'll never kill rust dead, but if you have to use a converter try the Bilt-Hamber stuff or Dinitrol Converust.

What Taurus said. Deox gel from Bilt Hamber does seem to work very well.

think deox 'removes' the rust - i use vactan from ebay which is a 'convertor' for stuff which is a bit rusty but not rotten
