	1964 Mark I Humber Sceptre Last On The Road in 2012 I am selling this on behalf of my father to whom the car belongs. He has owned it since February 2013 and the V5C shows 7 previous keepers. He is selling it because he has numerous other projects and no time to restore all of them, so this one has to go! Since he bought the Humber it has been in dry storage so not sitting out in the elements. The car starts and runs fine, engages gears etc so will drive onto a trailer or truck by it's own steam! The car will want bodywork restoration. There has been past restoration but not to a great standard. However the car is not a total wreck beyond restoring. The interior is in pretty decent nick for its age and all the bright work is there, most of it pretty good apart from the bumpers which need plating. However please be aware that the car does need more than just a polish and quick MOT! These MkI cars are getting very rare now, can't recall ever seeing one on the road! This one is far from a basket case and well worth the time and money to restore properly and save it long term. Viewing is ESSENTIAL to appreciate the condition and decide whether it's for you or not. The car is located near Worcester, 5 minutes from J6 of the M5. 	nice looking thing can i ask what the exhaust silencer type thing is on top of the engine?some weird airfilter maybe?

	I ran one of these in the 70s same colour scheme too! Registered 86 TF in 1964 IIRC I paid £100 for it and when it was hit up the jacksi and written off, the insurance paid me £175 and I sold the plate for £250. Twas a rare car, even then! The petrol tank leaked when I bought it and I couldn't find another (wing fitting) so put one in from a Super Minx that fitted behind the rear seat. Even that I had to get from a scrapper that was 8 cars high on a stack in the scrapyard. How times change! Health and safety would have a hissy fit about that but in those days it was par for the course! Probably saved my life in the long run as the original tank position didn't exist after the accident!
