I have decided to sell my 106 as I have just bought something a bit bigger to use as a runabout/project that needs an engine rebuild.
The car is in very good condition inside and out and anything I felt needed doing mechanically was carried out soon after I bought it about 2 years ago. I gave it a full service including the cam belt and I fitted a rebuilt rear suspension beam, front shock absorbers and one driveshaft and it hasn't really been used a lot since. It's done just under 67K miles now
The beam was taken from Forte so it has slightly thicker torsion and anti-roll bars and had new Peugeot bearings and seals fitted. I fitted Rallye front springs on the front to stiffen and lower it slightly. The only other non standard bits are a rev counter and Saxo rear trim panels so I could fit speakers in the back without hacking the parcel shelf up.
The tyres were fitted just before I bought it and are still in very good condition.
I got a new MOT last week and apart from a slight oil mist on a front shock only the slightly rusty exhaust was noted.
I really wasn't sure about a price, I spotted a few rough looking ones for more then I originally thought so I will ask for £650 and see how things go.
I has a Citroen AX before this and have a stash of useful spares that I will let go with it if they are wanted, amongst that is a starter and alternator and a manual steering rack.
I'm in Andover Hampshire, if you need any more info/pictures just ask and I will get back to you, thanks for looking.
