Up for sale is my 86 passat Estate, that i got off here about 6 Months ago. Its the 2 litre 5 cylinder motor with Kjet injection, runs well but the top end is rattly, common with these engines. The car has coilovers front and rear, and rides well considering how low it is. Can sit on the floor if you want it to. Sits on Ronal turbos with 4x 175/55 contis. Bodywork isnt perfect, there are small dents to most panels, a bit of rust round the rear arches and door bottoms, and some poor paint on the bonnet. The interior is nice with the exception of a few fag burns and some wear to the door cards. All the electric windows work, as does the central locking! Since ive had it ive tidied it up a bit, serviced it, replaced the ridiculously short rear coilies it had on it with mk2/mk3golf items to allow suspension travel and i did rear wheel bearings, top mounts, a CV joint, a track rod end and a small amount of welding to get it through the MOT.
Rare sight these days, attracts a fair bit of attention, and you can even sleep in the back at shows!
£1200ono, can be viewed in south manchester
