1993 Shogun LWB in silver, 3 litre petrol with 3 speed auto with overdrive. Not as terrible on fuel as I expected, but my car before this was an XJ12, so a Hummer would feel economical after that.
MOT to May 2016
135k miles
All tyres really good
She's a little tatty here and there but starts, drives and stops really nicely and is my current daily. I've moved house recently and this old truck was invaluable for lugging bits and bobs to the new house and tip.
Everything works other than the electric mirrors (not looked into it) and cruise is A1, but the sunroof is sticky so I don't use it. Rust wise she's pretty good. She rusted around the rear top arch and it was repaired, but it's come loose again and needs sticking again.
It has a fully stamped up Mitsi service history to 95k. There was also a massive pile of bills covering it up to early this year but like a curse word I have lost/mislaid these when moving house. This isn't me spinning a line - there is (somewhere) a box file full of paperwork, but I suspect it may have been thrown out.
I'm only moving her on because I want either a newer Shogun/Pajero, or a Range Rover, Discovery etc - that sort of thing.
I'm located in Carshalton Beeches, London Borough of Sutton - SM5 post code area.
I will get some better pictures as soon as I get time, but you get the general idea. a 22 year old truck that's been used, so far from like it was in 1993!
