Thats a really nice car! At the beginning of the 80's we had the station version of this one at home. A green one but already with rectangular lights. This one is beautiful and well finished! Got more resto pics for us fiatnutters on here? I knew one in Holland that had a fiat uno turbo lump fitted, but that one could not handle all the extra power because it was too flimsy and it sheard of it's front end. Incredible to sit in it next to the driver.

My Brother had a 1977 variant in Silver with blue interior back in 1986, it was an absolute flying machine compared to the Cars his friends were running around in. It began with UTV so may have been from the Leicester area originally?
Sadly it went into the back of a Lorry trailer circa 1988 and bent in the middle, my Brother was OK and bought a Chevette!

Absolutely fantastic. Looks great with those wheels. To think the roads used to be teeming with Fiat 127s and 128s but all but a few succumbed to the British climate. Great job.

Well, engine found, it's from an X1/9 so needs altering to fit. Gearbox is from an estate so slightly lower ratio which will give quicker acceleration Time to see what the motor looks like inside.

Well this is lovely. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses. The 1500 will make a difference alright, maybe a twin choke weber. I think the 3p or an early sl had one..
