Hey guys. Currently got R1 Carbs and Megajolt on my mk2 fiesta with an RS2000 16v i4 engine. But wanting to take a step up to TBs. Have found a decent 1300 hayabusa set up with megasquirt ECU I'm tempted by. But wondering if anyone has a base map I could pinch for this set up, or something similar? Or if anyone knows where I might find such a thing?
Obviously ultimately I will eventually get it fine tuned by a specialist, but just looking for something to get me going in the interim period?
Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Cheers Jonni

You'll find that the basic map that comes with the firmware (for a small block chevvy IIRC) will work ok provided you do the basic set-up. This involves telling it the number of cylinders, the capacity, squirts per cycle and injector flows (requ'd fuel calculation) plus some ignition set up parameters.
This'll get it running and probably driving.

Both my Megasquirt installs fired up straight off on the base map, which are generally set on the rich side to be safe. Fit a wideband afr gauge and you should be able to get it somewhere close to acceptable to drive happily without a rolling road session.
