205 XS - Unfinished 1.6 16v Project
No MOT. Will no doubt require odd bits for this so can't advise.
Not running. Fuel lines not connceted and wiring required.
Paintwork is tatty, lacquer finish on bonnet and roof is plated and has lacquer peel. Also a patch of filler on the rear passenger arch where they tried to fill the badge recess it would appear.
Will need a steering wheel (can steer using a pair of mole grips or bring a spare wheel)
If your still interested after that..read on as there are some decent bits available.
1.6 16v from a 2001 Saxo VTS fitted. Engine is fitted with Kent cams and pulleys also a remapped ECU (included with full engine bay loom from the saxo) The engine is fitted, all bar the lower mount bolt. Engine has rocker cover gasket leaks and sounded like it had a lifter out when it ran, however I ran this for a couple weeks and it went very well. No issues from the gearbox either. Injection pump fitted.
Custom welded manifold to fit 205 subframe and also a Group A 205 exhaust in very good condition.
Gaz Coilovers fitted to the front. A little weathered and require a wire brushing as cars been sat. Rears are billstein adjustable shocks.
205 1.9 GTI alloys. Tyres have tread but are old tyres and would advise replacing based on this. Wheels are in average condition could do with a light refurb.
Interior has had the dash removed and needs refitting (done by last owner that took the original engine out) front seats are XS and rear are GTI half leathers.
Previous owner spent some time refurbishing various parts, rear beam and brakes, lower arms etc. Has sat a while so would recommend all being looked at again.
I also have some other spares that will be included, a full standard xs exhaust in seeming good condition, standard fuel tank and pump.
For someone in the know this could probably be running in a weekend, i've lost interest unfortunately and would rather someone took it on instead of it sitting there going no where.
