Car: V-reg Nissan Primera 2.0 GT LE (Rare model!!!) MOT: 9 months or so Mileage: 130,000 approx Location: Nantwich, Cheshire Contact: PM or O78OO 9O239 6 Yo, I have too many cars again and much as I love this one I think its place in the fleet has been gobbled up by a Volvo 760TD which is 'me' all over. I need to adjust my car/money balance due to clearing off in my camper van fairly soon. Bought this off here in the first place actually, I paid £200 for it with no test and needing a load of welding!!! Primera 2.0 GT LE, has got a few blebs but still presentable, goes like the clappers and and 100% reliable, 9 months MOT. I have had this for a year and a bit and did a fairly serious weldfest on it for last years MOT. I have done 20-odd thousand miles in this including trips abroad and its flippin ace. Amazingly responsive and sharp to drive, I feel like a winner when I blast away from a roundabout in it, wasting 95% of other traffic. Done about 130,000 miles. Sits at 100-110 mph steady as you like. Does 38mpg average. Grey leather trim in decent nick but has a split in the drivers seat, not chronic like. Front tyres past their best, will need changing fairly soon I think. Everything works on it!!! Stainless steel hi-flow manifold & downpipe. Price: £300 no offers. For more photos and all my adventures with this car see here: linkPrice is £300 NO OFFERS, car is in Nantwich Cheshire, PM me or call O78OO 9O2396

From what I recall you're not allowed to post For-Sale posts on NPOC, in fact I believe that trying to offer this car on there when I owned it got me a ban from the forum. I still rank it as the worst owners club forum I've ever had the misfortune to join.
BTW Good luck with the sale!

Really? I'm surprised to hear that, I was a member for 5 years and found them excellent for help and support. GLWS either way, they're fantastic cars and sell themselves

I still rank it as the worst owners club forum I've ever had the misfortune to join. The NPOC has got to be one of the friendliest, most genuine and helpful clubs out there. The only issues that arise are when people repeatedly try to flout the forum rules, the very rules you tick the box to say you've read and understood upon signing up. Bans aren't given out willy-nilly, so I have no doubt that there would be a lot more to that ^^ than simply trying to sell a car when not a paid up member. Enough said on that one. Mr Xbo11ox, I've got a GTLE, and I have to say that I reckon the P11 GT is one of the best FWD cars ever made, only underestimated by the people who have never owned one. Good luck with the sale, it's a snip at the price.

I would agree that it’s a really exceptional car. Despite looking like a dismal Bradford minicab it really flies, the engine is just a peach of a thing. Its a treat to drive and can really remind you of the joy of a really good petrol engine. I love it and £300 is an insulting price considering what worthless clapped out $hiteheaps you normally get for that sort of money, but I do need to shed some cars and this has a few blebs on the outside so its not gonna be snapping any knicker elastic at 500yds if you know what I’m sayin.
If no-one wants to buy it for a paltry £300 it can loiter about in the fleet in case the Volvo blows its auto box up or something, I will take the hit for £20/month storage on it like a man.

Nope it was simply due to trying to offer a relevant vehicle to people that really should have been interested in it and then questioning the rationale behind having my posts deleted. It's perverse that a club isn't interested in the vehicles that the club was created for, also I'm not a trouble maker and I've never been banned from anything before or after... Another free bump Mr B

Another free bump Mr B Of course the club is interested in Primeras man, but there are guidelines and forum rules to follow, as with every internet group. If your posts were deleted, you were either posting a car for sale when you weren't a paying member, posting in the wrong section, or not wording the thread correctly (for internet searchbot purposes). Same as this forum really. Send me a message, and if you're still after answers as to what happened, I'll look into it for you. Apologies to Mr Xbo11ox for going off topic in your FS thread (although still Primera based!). Can I just say to anyone thinking of buying this car, the NPOC, despite one persons experiences, is a great forum full of knowledge, advice, cheap parts and meets/gatherings. A great resource and giver of confidence when buying a car that you might not be familiar with. Another bump for a great value smasher.

I had a P11-144 Sport estate for a while and loved it!
With regards to forum for sale rules, we repeatedly get asked to clamp down on people joining here just to sell stuff and I can see the advantages of taking that route. Unfortunately the disadvantage is the potential of missing out on a new-to-market car owned by someone out of the 'scene'. With no intended judgement on the NPOC, for any club or forum to block new members from selling seems counter-intuitive to the whole business of being car enthusiasts. It'd be like not taking a peek into a partially open (and usually closed) garage door or not interjecting when the chaps on the table next to you in the pub are discussing 'an old car' found in the garage of the job they're on.
I'm sure that this thread will be linked to on the NPOC though anyway. It'd be nice to think the right audience will see this car. One where it won't be classed as 'not particularly interesting' (an example of necessary forum rules ruining things here on RR!).
Good luck with sale Mr. B!
