	My other half has asked me if I can post this up, it might be a bit vague but she's hopeing someone might know. She has a BMW compact E36, she's just hit a small pot hole in the road. The car seems to drive ok, but with full left lock on and moving slowly, her car has now started groaning and creeking quite loudly, it sort of sounds like a door in an old house. Would anyone know whats happened or whats been damaged from my rough description?

	I've had both a front and back spring broken by pothole so front struts are the first things I'd check.

	I had grinding on full lock, that turned into knocking. Ended up being a bearing. That was from pothole damage too I think.

	if its a constant groan on the lock,that sounds like power steering, but would need to hear noise to confirm. Personally, i only suffered a written off alloy rim,it made a 1 inch flat spot.

	I have told her to take a steady drive to work then phone the RAC and get them to come out. We have paid every month for years and never used them.
