I don't really want to replace the seats as i've got nowhere to keep the originals/there in mint condition etc? are there any supports you can buy that a good? anyone else have this problem? i'm going to start using it again next week. ta, Chris

if the problem is in the lumber part of your back at the bottom what i do is roll an old towel up and tape on the seat i then can drive 100 miles plus without a twinge !

Long journeys in the 2300S give me trouble although I have a long running back problem anyway, just getting in and out of the Monza is a trial.
Price you pay for looking cool.

They may look mint but it doesn't mean that the foam/webbing/supports haven't gone a bit saggy. New webbing/foam can make a huge difference.

My XR3i on stock tired seats was OK on long trips but my RST is great ; While they are Recaros (which may be more uncomfortable in some people's eyes) they are also refoamed. Most classics I have been in with fully refoamed seats have been much better afterwards ; my Stag was like a revelation after the refoaming ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . Sometimes this is where paying someone to do can be better and more cost effective ; I had a real pain of a time finding good foams for my Stag ; they were all stupidly hard. My retrimmer was all too familiar and made his own. To add insult to injury it would not have cost all that much more if I went to him in the first place...
