Up for sale is my daily. Had it a little over a year and it's wanted nothing in that time. Been Extremely reliable.
Registered 01/09/2000 Put a fresh mot on in April (expires 10/4/2016) and only done a few miles since as unfortunately it's recently been replaced with an audi. (Wife's choice)
I'll start with the BAD as most cars have them.
There are some rust scabs on all 4 arches and a patch on the boot. (All pictured)
Wheels are kerbed not horrific but could do with a refurb. Also one alpina emblem has gone missing.
Rear passenger window only works intermittently.
Oil level sensor beeps on start up even though oil level is perfect. I'm told it's a common fault.
On the GOOD side of things
it's mechanically sound. Goes very well as you would expect a 3.0 straight 6 to and stops remarkably well for a big car. Has full grey leather interior with metal trim. Genuine alpina staggered Ronal alloys. Alpina front bib/trim.
Good spec for age. Cruise control, climate, 6disc changer, leccy sunroof leccy mirrors etc.
Good colour as well and polishes up well apart from the scabby bits.
Not really looking to be knocked on the price. The wheels alone are worth good money as they are.
Also shouldn't really be looking for swaps but may be tempted by a bug or mk1/2 Golf of same value.
I'll let the pics say the rest. Any other questions or things I've missed fire away ill keep a regular eye on the thread.
