Used purely as a stop gap for a week whilst my 530d had broken down and was off the road requiring a new fuel pump. Now repaired, so this is surplus to requirements.
It’s a nice little runabout, fitted with a lot of desirable factory options such as the Xenon headlights, sports leather, M-Tech suspension, etc.
Comes with one key, BMW folder with all user manuals, service booklet, a few bills / receipts, previous MOT certificates, etc.

138k Miles, which is nothing for a BMW straight six.
Reliable car - always starts first time. I have been using it on a daily commute to Hemel Hempstead, returning a genuine 32+mpg on a 100 mile round trip (see photo thats shows an average of 35.3mpg).
No overheating or coolant leaks. Brakes and suspension are good, although the rear bushes will need replacing soon. Slight leak from rocker cover gasket (common M54 fault and nothing major). Excellent tyres all round on genuine MV1 alloys.
Smooth drive and a perfect motorway car.
A few marks, blemishes and scrapes on the bodywork (see photos). OSR wheel arch has two large rust blisters, but it’s not the usual rot box and the front arches are pretty sold for an E46 of this vintage! If you are being fussy, the wheels could do with a refurb (but on a car less than a grand, would you really want to bother?!). Cleans up well and still a presentable car. NSF headlamp is misted with condensation (lights all work fine).
Interior is in very good condition, with the usual wear on the driver’s seat. Rear wiper is inoperative (although the washer jet is working) and the A/C needs a re-gas. Apart from these, everything else works as it should with no warning lights on the dash.
Not a brand new car, but certainly one of the better examples for this money and mileage. Please be realistic with you expectations - It's a 14 year old car with average miles. If you want a new one, go to BMW and pay over £40k for it!
